I-90 blocked for hours at Vantage Bridge after semi-truck crash, fire and fuel leak

VANTAGE, Wash. -- Interstate 90 was closed Wednesday morning after a crash involving a semi-truck led to a fire and a fuel leak on the Vantage Bridge.

It was not immediately known what caused the crash. Trooper John Bryant said the driver suffered only minor injuries.

Westbound traffic was released around noon in a single lane past the scene. Eastbound traffic was blocked at milepost 115, eight miles east of Ellensburg, until 4:00 p.m.

Bryant said the semi-truck leaked fuel onto the westbound lanes.
