CAPTURED: Jorge Cuevas-Morfin booked into Yakima County jail for Possession of Stolen Vehicle

YAKIMA COUNTY --   Toppenish Police say they received an anonymous tip called into dispatch from Crime Stoppers of Yakima County after Jorge Cuevas-Morfin was featured Saturday night on Washington’s Most Wanted.

Cuevas-Morfin was at his mother’s home staying in a shed in the back of the residence.  Officers from three different agencies arrived and attempted to call Cuevas-Morfin out, but he refused.

Police say they got consent from his mother to search the shed and officers kicked in the door.  Cuevas-Morfin was found inside along with two women.  He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Yakima County jail at 11:51 am on Sunday, March 31st for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Obstructing Law Enforcement.    One woman had a warrant and was also taken into custody and booked.
