Seattle business owners say justice system not holding repeat criminals accountable

SEATTLE — Thousands of business owners across Seattle are now unified on a message regarding crime.

They say the criminal justice system is not holding repeat offenders accountable, and it’s having a negative impact on businesses and their employees.

It’s a sentiment we’ve heard repeatedly: that a small percentage of people are responsible for a large percentage of crime.
