Woman shot in Federal Way library parking lot



FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A 17-year-old has been arrested for allegedly shooting a woman Monday afternoon in a Federal Way library parking lot.

The shooting was reported at about 6:40 p.m. at the library on S. 320th Street.

The Federal Way Police Department says the woman, who's in her 20s, was shot while in a vehicle in the library parking lot.  She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect, a 17-year-old male who lives in the Auburn area, had an handgun when he was arrested.

Investigators said they believe the altercation and subsequent shooting was a marijuana deal gone bad.
