SEATTLE — Learning your child has autism can be scary and frustrating. It can make you feel like you have to fight against the system every step of the way.

In a Q13 News special report, Washington families show us what living with autism is like, in their own words — their struggles, their concerns and, most of all, the way they’re fighting for the same thing every parent wants: to make sure their kids get the opportunities they deserve.
