Amazon’s $15 minimum wage takes effect today

SEATTLE -- Starting today, Amazon is paying all of its employees at least $15 an hour.

The company says the wage hike will benefit more than 350,000 workers, which includes full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal positions.

The change applies to Whole Foods and all other subsidiary employees.
