Two-car crash in Cleveland sends two drivers to the hospital

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland police are investigating a two car crash that sent both drivers to the hospital, according to WJW.

A neighbor told Fox 8 she watched as the driver of one of the cars was robbed as he was unconscious in the vehicle. Police, however, said that claim was unfounded.

The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. Monday along Warner Road at Jeffries Avenue.

According to Cleveland police, an 81-year-old man was driving a 2002 Honda minivan on Warren Road when a 32-year-old male driving a 2009 Volkswagen on Warner Road.

The vehicles collided head-on in the intersection.
