Help ID armed pot shop robber who terrorized workers, cased store day before

WANTED IN KING COUNTY -- King County Sheriff's detectives hope someone can help identify the suspect in frightening pot shop robbery.

In the surveillance video, you can see the crook rushing into Uncle Ike's store on 15th Avenue in White Center with a gun drawn and vaulting over the counter as the worker backs away in fear with his hands in the air.

Another employee bolted into the back right when the robber ran into the store and hid in a bathroom until the coast was clear.

The robber got away with cash and was in and out in less than a minute.

"Detectives actually found out the day prior he was there casing the place,” said King County Sgt. Ryan Abbott. “You can see him in the parking lot. He's wearing a little bit of different clothes. He's got shorts on, but then the next day he's actually in the store and he's got pants on this time with a sweatshirt and sunglasses to try to disguise himself a little bit, but we got him the day prior where he wasn't disguising himself, so we're really hoping that somebody notices this guy, knows who he is and gives us a tip, so we can find out who it is and arrest this guy, because what we found out is usually if they're suspects in one robbery like this, they're probably responsible for other ones as well."

Detectives think the suspect's in his 20's to 30's.

He wore black sweats, a blue hoodie and gray tennis shoes with white stripes for the robbery.

The day before when detectives say he cased the place, he wore blue shorts, flip-flops with socks and a gray Seahawks hat.

Detectives say the armed robbery had the two victims scared for their lives.

"He's got a gun, he's pointing it at people. Who knows what could have happened. He's jumping over the counter with his finger on the trigger. Thank God nobody got hurt or injured in his one and if he's willing to do this at one, he's going to do it at other ones, so we need to find this guy. We need to get him behind bars quickly, if possible, in hopes that he doesn't do this to anyone else, or something worse happens," said Sgt. Abbott.
