Police search for person who shot man near Rainier Beach High School

SEATTLE -- Police are trying to find the person who shot a man overnight near Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to the scene on Wabash Avenue South at around 11 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of shots fired.

A man was found with life-threatening injuries.

He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. No other information about the victim was available.

No suspect information was immediately released.
