Winlock man faces life in prison after killing next door neighbor playing basketball with son

CHEHALIS, Wash. -- A jury unanimously convicted a Washington man of fatally shooting his next door neighbor and trying to shoot the neighbor's 16-year old son at their home.

The Daily News reports Randolph Graham, of Winlock, was found guilty Wednesday on all charges, including first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, drive-by shooting, manufacture of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Graham, who took the stand in his own defense Tuesday and pleaded self-defense, was accused of shooting Randy Lester four times on May 23 while he was playing basketball in his driveway with his son.

The last shot was fired from close range, as Randolph stood over Randy Lester, who was lying flat in his driveway after he'd already been shot three times.

Sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday. Graham could face life in prison.
