Centralia Police say missing woman found dead in Oregon woods
UPDATE -- On Friday, August 24, 2018, an official with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office notified the Centralia Police Department that Chrystal D. Chipman, 47 of Centralia had been located.
Ms. Chipman was reported missing to the Centralia Police Department on August 18, 2018. The vehicle Ms. Chipman was thought to be in was located east of Newport, Oregon in a wooded area by a logger working in the area.
A Lincoln County Deputy located Ms. Chipman, deceased several miles from where the vehicle was located. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
Centralia Police had been searching for her since Saturday, August 18th.
She's 47 years old, 5’6” and weighs 150 pounds.
