Help ID bizarre, vicious cell phone store attack suspect

WANTED IN KING COUNTY --
A terrifying attack was caught on camera in Burien Tuesday afternoon.

A man walked into a Boost Mobile store at 1017 SW 136th Street in Burien -- and then leaped over the counter to attack the clerk.

The clerk suffered a broken nose during the attack.

But he managed to finally get away from his attacker, run outside the store and then tries to keep the assailant inside by holding a security door closed from the outside.

But the attacker manages to push his way out and then fled.

"He just went into the store for no reason and assaulted the victim and it's completely uncalled for," said King County Sgt. Ryan Abbott. "Who knows what he was doing and why he was doing it, but it's scary for anybody, especially an employee who's at a store by themselves, just minding their own business, thinking they'll do their work and this guy comes in and for no reason attacks him."

He wore a dark cap and clothes and detectives say he took off in a black SUV.

If you can tell King County detectives his name, or know anything that can help identify him, use the P3 Tips App to submit your tips to Crime Stoppers, or call the hot line at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
