SEATTLE -- A 20-year-old man may have been intoxicated when he slammed his SUV head-on into a station wagon early Sunday killing a man, the Washington State Patrol said.
The crash happened just after 3 a.m. on the ramp from southbound I-5 to eastbound I-90.
Troopers said the man was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when the crash happened.
The driver of the station wagon died at the scene. He has been identified as Mohamed Alhethail from Issaquah.
The suspect driver was transported to Harborview Medical Center and is in custody for alleged vehicular homicide.
Officials said the freeway ramp has reopened after being closed for more than 4 hours.
