Man stabbed multiple times in Seattle's Chinatown International District

SEATTLE -- Seattle police are investigating after a man was stabbed multiple times Saturday in the Chinatown International District.

About 6:15 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to South Jackson Street and 5th Avenue South in regards to a stabbing.

The victim, a man in his late thirties, was stabbed multiple times by the suspect in the chest and abdomen. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect remains at large and police do not have much of a description to go on.



According to witnesses, the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, and was wearing a white shirt and carrying a dark jacket.

He was last seen fleeing the scene eastbound on South Jackson Street.

Officers searched the area but have not found the suspect.
