Recycling truck removed from sinkhole in West Seattle

SEATTLE -- Crews freed a recycling truck that got stuck in a sinkhole on a West Seattle street Monday.

Photos from the scene Monday afternoon showed what appeared to be a fairly small sinkhole near 24th Ave SW & SW Kenyon S.

A Waste Management spokesperson said nobody was hurt.

Crews waited for officials from Seattle Public Utilities to arrive before using a tow truck to remove the vehicle.

Seattle police were at the scene directing traffic.
