PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say two employees at a Portland apartment complex were shot and wounded by a man who had apparently just been evicted.

Police said the suspect in the Monday shooting was arrested without incident after he was located in a vehicle.

A 45-year-old man and a 64-year-old women suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries from the shooting at the apartment complex.

Both were taken by ambulance to a Portland hospital.

Police said preliminary information indicates that the suspect — who is in his 60s — was formally evicted on Monday and that the two victims are employees with the apartment complex management.

The suspect and victims were not identified by police.
