Elderly woman killed in Queen Anne house fire

SEATTLE – A house fire in Seattle turned deadly Saturday morning. The Seattle Fire Department says a woman believed to be in her 80s was found inside a home in the 1900 block of Sixth Avenue West on Queen Anne.

She was the only person inside the home at the time.

Multiple calls came into fire dispatch just before 6:30 a.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they determine the fire was near the back of the home.
