Avalanche closes US 20 near Santiam Pass
SISTERS, Ore. -- U.S. 20 is closed near the HooDoo Ski Area due to an avalanche, the Oregon State Police announced on Twitter.
Troopers were notified about the avalanche about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. U.S. 20 is closed about two miles west of Santiam Pass.
No injuries have been reported.
OSP say they "are trying to get stopped traffic moving."
They did not give a time for when the highway will be open. Drivers should check tripcheck.com for updates.
