Lynnwood police seek tips to ID Apple store thieves

LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- Lynnwood Police are asking for your help to ID three women caught on video stealing from the Lynnwood Apple store.

"Looked like they were well-rehearsed. While the first lady looked like she was addressing some legitimate question or a made-up question, the smallest of the three would grab high-dollar headphones one box at a time and put them in bags and purses that they carried in with them. They made off with five pairs, in excess of $1,000 worth of headphones," said Det. Bill Koonce.

The woman in the black dress has a huge tattoo on her left shoulder. She's white and heavy-set with dark hair. The other two women are both black. The tall one wore large hoop earrings and dark blue Victoria Secret sweatsuit that says Pink across the front. The third suspect is shorter and wore a pink-colored outfit and black shoes.

"We don't like anybody who comes to our stores to steal, especially during the holidays. Most of them are engaged in other types of crime. If they're stealing from Apple, they'll probably steal out of your car, out of your yard, out of your house," said Det. Koonce.

He is also asking for help identifying a man seen on video in the same store stealing a new iPhone 7.  “He cut the cord that has it secured to the counter top and then takes off out of the store,” said Det. Koonce.

If you can identify any of the suspects, submit the information via the P3 Tips App on your smart phone to Crime Stoppers or call the hot line anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS. There is a cash reward of up to $1,000 per suspect if your information leads to their arrest.
