SEATTLE — Wow.

We’re still reveling from the Seattle Sounders FC’s amazing shootout win over Toronto FC Saturday night. And we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the championship moment than by meeting the MLS champs at the airport.

The team is expected to arrive home around 3 p.m Sunday at Boeing Field.  Fans are encouraged to gather outside Boeing Field’s King County Main Terminal to welcome Nelson Valdez, Jordan Morris and the rest of the champs home to Seattle.

Though the team is expected to land at 3:15 p.m., the time is subject to change slightly, Sounders FC officials said.

A larger celebration is also planned for Tuesday in downtown Seattle. The details of that celebration were not immediately released.

So go get it, Rave Green fans. We’ll certainly be there.
