Bill would allow fans to carry guns into Washington stadiums

SEATTLE --  Three Washington state representatives want to allow fans to carry guns into stadiums and arenas.

Currently, air horns, selfie sticks, personal footballs, laptops, alcohol, and weapons are not permitted in CenturyLink Field.

HB 1015 was introduced by Republicans Matt Shea, David Taylor, and Bob McCaslin for the legislative session beginning in January.

In its current form, the bill would affect both public stadiums and private groups operating at the stadium, from setting any rules against concealed carry weapons.

The proposed bill also has a section which would stop individual cities or neighborhoods from setting up restrictions.
