Former student arrested for carrying rifle on Seattle Central College campus
SEATTLE – Seattle police said a former student was arrested for carrying a rifle on campus at Seattle Central College on Wednesday.
Police said the 34-year-old man was carrying the rifle in a guitar case, but he didn’t make any threats or show the gun to anybody.
The man, who lives in a homeless camp, was booked on a felony warrant and for possessing a dangerous weapon at a school.
Somebody who knew the man reported him to campus security because they knew he sometimes carried a rifle in the case.
The man isn’t registered at Seattle Central anymore, and police weren’t sure why he was on campus.
