Two memorial funds set up for Tacoma Officer Reginald "Jake" Gutierrez

TACOMA, Wash. -- Two memorial funds have been created for fallen Tacoma Police Officer Reginald "Jake" Gutierrez.

Tacoma Police Officer Gutierrez was killed in the line of duty on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016, while responding to a domestic violence incident in east Tacoma.

He was a 17-year veteran patrol officer with the Tacoma Police Department and is survived by his fiancee, children, and a large family.

The Tacoma Police Officers Union and Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers created one fund.  According to their website, 100% of all funds donated in memory of Officer Gutierrez will go directly to his family.
