SEATTLE — Seattle’s Turkey Trot kicked off Thursday morning. The Thanksgiving Day tradition drew thousands to the Sunset Hill neighborhood, despite the heavy rain.

The 5k run/walk finished at Golden Gardens Park.

This is the 10th year of the scenic run which began at 9 a.m.

All proceeds go to support the Ballard Food Bank which provides food for those in need during this crucial holiday season.
