Puyallup’s Kalles Junior High locked down for short time

PUYALLUP – A junior high school in Puyallup was placed under lockdown Friday just before noon after a suspect involved in police activity nearby ran through the school.

Police were looking for two burglary susepcts, one of whom was armed.

There were many officers at the scene and inside of Kalles Junior High, police said.

The lockdown was lifted soon after, at around 12;15 p.m.
