Armed Walmart robber: Help identify bold suspect who sneakily struck at superstore

walmartWANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY --
Pierce County detectives are hoping you can identify this really bold armed robber in Pierce County who didn't hit a place you'd expect, like a gas station or bank, he went after a Walmart superstore.

“The suspect walked into the store and he went up to the counter where they cash checks, knowing that's where the money would be,” describes Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer. “Once they said they did cash checks he handed them a note, told them it was a robbery and he implicated he had a gun. He never displayed it, but the fact that you implicate a weapon is just as bad as if you actually had one. So, he got the money and then he fled the store. So, this is something that was planned when he went in. He had glasses and a hat on, so people couldn't tell who he was. We want to get this guy off the streets because this was a planned event and if he's doing it now he's going to continue to do it until he gets caught, so the sooner we catch him, the sooner it comes to an end."

Detectives think he's Black or Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5’10”five feet ten inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

He had a thin goatee and wore a black baseball hat with a yellow bill and logo on the front.
