Ballard homeowner set Halloween lights to 'Thriller' and 17 other songs

SEATTLE -- If you're planning your trick-or-treating route. Here is a house you don't want to miss.

A Ballard homeowner traded scary for disco this year adding 5,000 lights to a very colorful display synchronized to 18 different songs.

John Sterlin said he controls the display from his iPad and it took him three months to put everything together.

"Every season we decorate the house, and it was just sort of a natural progression for us to make kinda it big and bright and fun," Sterlin said.

The show runs every night from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 6212 9th Ave NW.
