Man shot several times in Sedro-Woolley

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. -- A man in his 50s was rushed to the hospital Saturday after a shooting in Sedro-Woolley.

Police are looking for the suspect. He is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was also wearing a tan Carhartt-type jacket and has a goatee.

Chief Lin Tucker said they received reports of shots fired about 3 p.m. in the 400 block of Puget Street.

When they arrived on the scene, they discovered the victim. He was reportedly shot at least three times. His condition is unknown at this time.

Tucker says they believe the victim knew his attacker.

The area was locked down while helicopters and K9s searched for the suspect.
