'Camo Car Prowl Perp': Help identify crook caught on camera busting into vehicle in Seattle neighborhood

camoWANTED IN SEATTLE --
They come creeping in the dark of the night: Car prowlers like this Seattle suspect trying to open doors and steal your stuff.

These surveillance images were taken on N.E. 100th St. in the Maple Leaf  neighborhood of north Seattle a little more than a week ago and they show a suspect police are trying to identify.

"I look at the way he holds the flashlight for example. He knows what he's doing. This is not his first car prowl. You look at his clothing. The camo pants, Adidas shoes. He's wearing some type of glasses and short cropped hair. You'd look at this guy on the street and say this guy looks like he's going to work out with some team. He looks like an athlete,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “It's just another warning. If you have stuff that's valuable, please do not leave it in the open. In this case, it wasn't left in the open but it was in a glove box.”
