Medical examiner identifies body found in pond as missing Redmond man

REDMOND, Wash. -- The medical examiner has identified a body found Oct. 9 in a retention pond as a missing 31-year-old man.

The Redmond Police Department said Robert Hall's family first reported him missing on Sept. 15.

"Though cause and manner of death are still pending with the King County Medical Examiner’s office, Redmond Police detectives confirm there were no visible signs of trauma."

The cyclist who made the discovery earlier this month initially called police because for a dead animal in the water near Leary Way NE & 159th Pl NE.

Authorities said there are no indications of foul play and there are no safety issues for the public in the area.
