SEATTLE — It’s snowing in the mountains! Snow began falling at Crystal Mountain and White Pass at the beginning of October. But fresh snow fell this weekend.

A very welcoming sight for skiers and snowboarders.

Q13 meteorologist Rebecca Stevenson said about 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to fall at 5,500 – 6,000 feet. Higher altitudes could receive more snow.

Mt. Hood in Oregon also saw snow showers Sunday. The National Weather Service in Portland tweeted the below gif.
