Dog looking for new home before the holidays. #WhyNotMePets

EVERETT, Wash. — Meet Sasha! Q13 FOX NEWS is partnering with Pet Connection Magazine and Pawsitive Ailliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign to help long-term homeless pets, like Sasha, find loving families.

Sasha is a 9-year-old Saint Bernard/terrier mix.

After Sasha's longtime owner died, she went to the Everett Animal Shelter. The shelter says when Sasha arrived, she wasn't in the best physical shape, but is now looking great and healthy.

The shelter tells us Sasha is great with people, cats and would most likely get along with other dogs. A meet-and-greet with potential dog siblings would be required.

Sasha also loves to play fetch and have her belly rubbed.
