Grand Mound Elementary safely evacuated after bomb threat, deputies say

ROCHESTER, Wash. -- Deputies say students were safely evacuated from Grand Mound Elementary School after a note was found in the bathroom indicating there was a bomb inside the school.

The Thurston County Sheriff's Office first tweeted about the incident at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.



About half an hour later, authorities said they had cleared the school and classes were resuming as normal.
