Lake Stevens police ask for public’s help to find missing 17-year-old girl

UPDATE:

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — A 17-year-old girl who was reported missing by Lake Stevens police last Friday has been very active on social media.

Taiya Mackenzie Reynolds was last seen by her mother September 9. According to police, Reynolds’ mother believes someone is preventing her daughter from contacting her family.

However, since media reports began to circulate about her disappearance, Reynolds has become very active on Facebook and Twitter stating she is not missing.

Reynolds is 5-foot-4, about 125 pounds, and had purple ends on her hair when she was last seen.

If you see her or know here whereabouts, police ask that you call 911. It’s case number 2016-0001-18075.
