Soldier from Mill Creek killed in Kuwait

SEATTLE – A soldier from Mill Creek was killed in Kuwait according to the Department of Defense.

1st Lt. Jeffrey D. Cooper, 25, died Sept. 10 in Kuwait from a non-combat related injury.

Cooper was assigned to Headquarters and headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat team out of Fort Campbell, KY

The incident is under investigation.
