Superstar actor says he'll join Seahawks in 'demonstration of unity'

SEATTLE -- Actor Chris Pratt, star of "Parks and Recreation" and the remake of "Magnificent Seven," tweeted that he would join in the Seahawks planned demonstration of unity Sunday, and encouraged others to do the same.

Pratt tweeted about the demonstration Sunday morning. He encouraged those watching the game to stand and link arms during the national anthem.

Pratt was raised in Lake Stevens, Washington and is a huge fan of the Hawks.

Seahawks players plan to stand and link arms on the sidelines during Sunday's game, wide receiver Doug Baldwin said Saturday.

“We are a team comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds,” Baldwin says. “And as a team, we have chosen to stand and interlock arms in unity.”

There has been much speculated as to what the team had planned for a demonstration. Previously, Baldwin and defensive end Cliff Avril have said they supported 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his move to kneel during the national anthem.
