Man, 27, dies after weekend shooting in Burien

BURIEN, Wash. -- A 27-year-old man died on Sunday after he was shot after leaving a party Sunday morning in Burien.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the report of shots fired near S 128th St & 21st Ave S. They learned that a Sacramento man had been shot multiple times and was taken by his friends to Highline Medical Center.

Officials said the man was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he later died.

It's unclear what led to the shooting. Investigators say the victim left the party on foot before the shooting happened. His friends found him a short time later on the ground.
