1 dead in motorcycle crash on Seattle bridge

SEATTLE -- A man died in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on the 1st Avenue South Bridge in Seattle, police say.

According to police, the adult male rider was traveling northbound on 1st Avenue South when it appears he failed to negotiate a turn to an off-ramp. The man hit the railing, and flipped off the bridge onto S. Michigan Street.
