No place like home: Seahawks extend agreement to keep Q13 FOX as exclusive home

SEATTLE - The Seattle Seahawks announced a new agreement Thursday night that means Q13 FOX will remain the official home of the Seahawks for five more years. The deal extends a partnership that’s seen the Seahawks through the most successful stretch in franchise history.

Seattle Seahawks President Peter McLoughlin and Q13 FOX Senior Vice President/General Manager Pam Pearson announced the new agreement during the team’s preseason game against the Cowboys on Thursday night.

Preseason games and the majority of regular-season games will continue to air on Q13 FOX, and the station’s Gameday crew will continue to produce pregame and postgame shows every week.

The deal also includes continued production of “Seahawks Saturday Night,” a weekly show that features sports director Aaron Levine’s one-on-one interviews with Pete Carroll, a mic’d up segment with a rotating cast of players, and analysis from former Seahawks linebacker Dave Wyman.

Preseason games re-air on JOEtv the following Sunday at 3pm.

In 2014, Q13 FOX broadcast the only Super Bowl win in Seahawks history, as well as the team’s victory parade. The Super Bowl will be back on Q13 FOX next February.
