Heat advisory, fire weather warning issued for much of Western Washington



SEATTLE -- A Heat Advisory over a large portion of western Washington signals warm overnight low temperatures and daytime highs in the upper 80s to low 90s through Friday.



Quillayute set a new record high of 91° Wednesday. On Thursday, a number of records are forecast to fall including Bellingham, Sea-Tac, and Olympia.



Hot, dry, weather, with gusty wind are going to promote rapid spread of any spark or wildfire start. A fire weather warning has been issued to request help from all of us to prevent fire starts.



A marine push of cooler air arrives Saturday for 15 to 20 degrees of cooling and by Sunday morning a few showers will develop in the foothills, coast, and north of Everett.
