SELAH, Wash. – The FBI arrested an Eastern Washington man on Thursday, accusing him of receiving explosives that he intended to use for intimidation.

Melvin Thomas Neifert of Selah was charged with receipt of an explosive in interstate commerce with an intent to intimidate.

A grand jury handed down an indictment, deciding there was evidence that Neifert had an incendiary explosive device consisting of a nitrate explosive mixture with potassium nitrate and sugar.
