Construction crew unearths decades-old human bones in Pierce County



GIG HARBOR -- Crews unearthed old human bones at a construction site in Gig Harbor, Pierce County sheriff's detectives said.

Crews working in the 8000 block of Goodman Drive NW found the human bones Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff's detectives said the bones appear to have been in location for between 25 and 50 years. They also said the bones appear very old.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department will investigate the discovery.
