Rape suspect runs into traffic to avoid reporters

CHICAGO -- A former Chicago tanning salon owner led the media on a chase outside Cook County Jail Tuesday evening.

Marc Winner is accused of raping four women.

He's been held without bond since April, but a judge changed that last week.

On Tuesday he refused to answer reporters' questions and instead made a dramatic exit, running through traffic on busy California Ave.

Winner was freed while awaiting trial but he'll have to adhere to a curfew and electronic monitoring.

He’s due back in court August 17th.
