Delayed flights and luggage among issues Delta passengers face after computer outage

SEATAC, Wash. -- Flights are taking off, but it may be a while before Delta Airlines gets things back on track after a system wide power-outage.

An estimated 750 flights were cancelled and a flight tracking service counted 2000 delays.

After spending all day at airports in Orlando and then Atlanta, musician Craig Campbell and his band finally arrived in Seattle as they get ready to perform for the U.S.O at Joint Base-Lewis McChord Tuesday.

“There were several options from Atlanta to here so we were going to get here in the middle of the night, but we were going to get here,” said Campbell. He and his band are also missing bags and guitars, which could affect their show.

Delayed luggage is one of the many issues delta is dealing with after a computer outage affected their operations system wide.

The airline is now offering apologies through social media and vouchers at the counter.

Delta is also offering help with hotel costs for those who need it.
