Bodies recovered after boat crash on Lake Coeur d'Alene

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP)-- Northern Idaho authorities say the bodies of three people who went missing after a boat collision on Lake Coeur d'Alene have been recovered.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office in a statement late Wednesday says the bodies had been located and recovered by the county's Sonar and Dive Rescue Team.

Officials identified the dead as Justin M. Luhr, 34, of Medical Lake, Washington and his two passengers, Justin T. Honken, 21, of Post Falls, Idaho and Caitlin A. Breeze, 21, of Spokane, Washington. Autopsies are planned.

The crash happened Saturday night.

Authorities say one motorboat crashed into another that was either stationary or northbound. Five adults on the boat that crashed into the other vessel were treated and released at a hospital.
