Three people presumed drowned after boat crash on Lake Coeur d'Alene

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say three people missing following a boating accident on Lake Coeur d'Alene are presumed drowned.

KHQ reports that the crash happened Saturday night. Authorities say one motorboat crashed into another that was either stationary or northbound.

Five adults on the boat that crashed into the other vessel were treated and released at a hospital.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's department says all three adults aboard the boat that was struck are missing and presumed drowned. They have been identified as Justin M. Luhr, 34, of Medical Lake, Washington and his two passengers, Justin T. Honken, 21, of Post Falls, Idaho and Caitlin A. Breeze, 21, of Spokane, Washington.

The crash is still under investigation.
