Seahawks' Cooper Helfet suffers broken bone in foot

RENTON, Wa. - The Seattle Seahawks added rookie tight end, Clayton Echard before the start of the team's second practice of training camp.  Now we know why.

Seahawks tight end, Cooper Helfet, who missed Sunday's training camp session, suffered a cracked bone in his foot according to Seahawks offensive coordinator, Darrell Bevell.

"He cracked a bone in his foot," Bevell said of Helfet, who's entering his fifth NFL season. "So we’re going to miss him for a little bit."

Helfet will be out indefinitely and there's no timetable on when he will return.
