Passenger killed, driver arrested after car rolls over, slams into tree in Auburn

AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — A man has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide after a car rolled and crashed in Auburn, killing a passenger.

The News Tribune reports ( ) King County sheriff's deputies were called to the crash on Kent-Black Diamond Road SE Monday evening.

Sgt. Cindi West says the vehicle had rolled at least once, leaving a straight stretch of road, before hitting a tree. She said the passenger died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
