Pilot injured after plane crashes at Whidbey Airpark

WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. – Investigators are piecing together what made a pilot crash his plane at the Whidbey Airpark near Langley Saturday afternoon.

The South Whidbey fire department says they responded to the scene around 3:15 p.m..

The incident occurred during landing and the pilot was transported with non-life threatening injuries to a nearby hospital.
