22-year-old Bellevue man, a Jubilee Reach volunteer coach, charged with child rape, other counts

SEATTLE -- A 22-year-old Bellevue man was charged Thursday with child rape, unlawful imprisonment and indecent liberties for separate incidents allegedly involving a 14-year-old girl and two adult women.

Bellueve police said that, on May 19, a 14-year-old girl contacted them and said that Dariel De Los Santos, her former coach at Jubilee Reach, had invited her over to his home in April and raped her.

Jubilee Reach is an organization that places employees in the Bellevue schools to assist staff in working with kids. Court documents said De Los Santos met the 14-year-old girl when she was a student in the middle school where he was assigned and kept up contact with her after she was no longer at the school.

He was charged with third-degree child rape for that alleged incident.

"Further investigation revealed that there were two additional victims involving the same suspect, both of whom were female coworkers of his at Jubilee Reach," Bellevue police spokesman Seth Tyler said.

The second victim, a 22 year-old woman, alleged that the suspect held her against her will while she was at his house in May. The third victim, a 21-year-old woman, told police that the suspect had allegedly filmed her while she was using the restroom at his house in March and made several unwanted sexual advances and attempted to force himself on her.

Bellevue Police investigators arrested the suspect, Dariel De Los Santos, on July 12 and booked him into the King County Jail.
